Breast reduction in Tunisia

Breast reduction removes excess fat, skin and breast tissue, which makes the breasts smaller, lighter and firmer. It also helps to refocus the nipple, reducing the size of the areola (the dark area around the nipple). The aim is to give a smaller chest with a better shape, while the proportions of the body of the woman.

Incisions are made around the areola and vertically down to the breast folds. A curved incision in the breast may be necessary depending on the size and shape of the breast. Excess fat, breast tissue and skin are removed.

Most patients experience moderate discomfort for a day or two, but this is set using the prescribed medication. Most women are usually back to work after two weeks of rest and all their activities within four to six weeks.

A smaller chest which is harmonious with the rest of the body are part of the observed results; but also an immediate reduction in physical problems related to a too large chest, and an improvement in the ability to exercise and participate in physical activities. Breast reduction is a common and quite safe surgical procedure. There is no consideration of serious complications. Superficial complications may exist, such as scarring, loss of sensation or unnecessary temporary difference in the size of breasts.
